Irish low-cost carrier Ryanair maintains the most awe-inspiring route map and want’s to add new fly destinations routes at blistering, breakneck speed. At current count, the Ryanair company operates well over 500 routes, from Inverness to Brindisi; Tampere to Tenerife.
Ryanair is Europe’s most punctual airline, according to the UK Civil Aviation Authority and they certainly like to crow about it. The blue and gold Boeing 737-800s fly 777 routes across Europe so even a seasoned traveller will find somewhere new to explore.

It’s easy to have lots of opinions about Ryanair; we certainly do. It’s a big monster of an airline. We’ve been pleased as punch on Ryanair, psyched to take advantage of insanely cheap fares, and we’ve also been annoyed beyond belief with the airline, distressed by enormous surcharges on too-heavy luggage and staff who appear to be completely clueless.

With Ryanair more than with the other airlines we describe here, it pays to be informed about potential penalties and pitfalls.

Baggage

* Carry-On Suitcases for Ryanair
All the cases below are appropriate for all flights in Europe, including Ryanair and Wizz Air. If flying with any other airline, including easyJet, you can actually take a larger case.
* Carry-on: One piece of luggage not to exceed 10 kg.
* Checked: Up to 3 bags with a combined weight of 15 kg. If booked on-line using Ryan Air, the first bag is €9 and the second and third bags are €18 each. Over 15 kg, €10 per kg. Check website for details.

Seating
Since Ryanair is a free for all when it comes to landing seats, it’s a good idea to opt for priority boarding. In advance, book priority boarding status for free by checking in online. At the airport, you can pay €4 to receive priority.

Note: If you check in at the airport, you will also incur a €4 fee.

Ryanair charge for extra services, here are the most important ones:

Check-in Ryanair no longer offer airport check in, yet they still charge you £6 per person, per flight to check yourself in online (This fee is waived on some promotional fares). You can drop bags off between two hours and 40 minutes before your flight. If you’re only taking carry on luggage just arrive at the gate 30 minutes before departure (at the latest).

Baggage Ryanair charges for checking in a bag, but it’s cheaper to pay online than over the phone or in person so plan ahead. You can check in up to three bags with a combined weight of 15kgs. Alternatively pack light and just take cabin luggage, it’s great because you don’t have to turn up early to check it in and you save the fee. Cabin bags are limited to one per person (excluding infants) and can weigh up to 10kg and measure up to 55cm x 40cm x 20cm.

Children Children aged two and older pay a normal adult fare and infants (0-23 months) pay £20 each way.

Priority boarding Ryanair flights offer Priority Boarding which lets you get on the plane first to get first pick of seats. Again this service is slightly cheaper (£5 vs. £6) when you book online. Ryanair recommend that families get speedy boarding because only those with infants will be let on the plane first.

Food and drink It can be pricey so eat a big meal beforehand!

The whole world has been suffering from economic crises. And in my opinion it still is. That is why many people nowadays are saving money and refusing to travel abroad. But it shouldn’t be like this. There are so many ways to find cheap flight tickets, maybe You don’t know them?

Here are some advices that might help You to find cheap flights:

Fly to Secondary Airports

Most of the biggest cities in the world have a smaller airport. This is the airport where You can find cheap tickets. Airports are charging landing fees, in addition to that smaller airports equals smaller fees, which helps to keep prices lower than in bigger airports. So make sure that You’ve checked out which airlines company fly into these smaller airports.

Travel Dates
Be flexible with Your travel dates. Remember that You are trying to save some money and if You want that You should be able to change Your plans at least for a little bit. Cheap ticket prices usually depends on the day and time of the week. The best example of that is holiday tickets. It is always cheaper to fly on the middle of the week than on a weekend. Also it is cheaper to choose a flight after major holidays (like Christmas) than before. The best day of the week to book Your cheap flight tickets is Tuesday. It’s because prices usually drop a bit on this day of the week.

Alternative Routes
You should try alternative routes. Sometimes (and by that I mean really often!) it’s cheaper to fly to London and take a flight to Berlin rather than flying direct to Berlin. Remember that direct flights are always more expensive than connecting ones. So choosing connecting flight route is a really good way to save some money, which You will probably spend when You will get to Your final destination. Still it is good to know that You haven’t overpaid.

Student Discounts
Take Advantage of Student Discounts! If you are a student, there are many ways to save money from flight tickets. Remember that every agency is interested in selling as many flight tickets as possible, so they are taking care of You and many discounts are available to you. Don’t forget to check out STA Travel and their search engine. There You can find flexible student tickets just by visiting their website or agency stores!

Book Early
Having in mind nowadays situation, when oil prices going up (and saying that I mean not by days, by hours! ), airlines are raising fees. Just last year they have been raised 7 times. Earlier the best booking window used to be 6 or 8 weeks before Your flight, but now everything has changed. In my opinion You should book Your cheap flight as soon as you know that you’re really going. Don’t forget that Your laziness can cost You a lot of money. And we are trying to save here, aren’t we? So it’s very important to book as soon as you know when you want to go.

Try to understand that there is always a way save on Your flight. You shouldn’t miss the chance to visit Your relatives or spend some quality time during Your holiday. Follow our advices and You will be able to travel wherever You want!

I’m often asked for a list of good cheap flights, but there is no such one list on the Internet . The closest things to it are the lists of wholesale suppliers maintained by the best retail cheap flights. But those are lists of wholesalers, and wouldn’t do you any good even if any agency were willing to reveal its list of suppliers, which none with a list worth anything would do. (Discount retail agents compete at negotiating deals and tracking down wholesale suppliers, and guard their information about prices, commissions, and suppliers zealously.) Any list of retail cheap flights would become obsolete too quickly to be useful. Instead, I’ll try to give an outline of the types of international airline ticket cheap flights and how to find them.

Many people have heard that they can get cheaper deals from “consolidators” or “ticket shop onliness” than from the air companies. I’ll try to explain what these terms mean, but their meanings aren’t universally agreed upon even within the industry. If you want a discounted ticket from point A to point B, the best way to start your inquiry to a travel agency is not, “Are you a consolidator” (they may say, No”, because they are a retail agency and consider the term “consolidator” to apply only to wholesale-only agencies) nor, “Are you a ticket shop on line?” (they may say, “No”, because they consider “ticket shop on line” to be an insulting, pejorative term). Ask, “Do you have discounts from point A to point B.”

“Consolidator” and “ticket shop on line” are sometimes used interchangeably, but aren’t exactly the same.

Consolidators are agencies that have discount agreements with the air companies. In most cases, especially with the USA and other big air companies, consolidators are wholesalers who sell only through retail agencies, not directly to the public. In any case, wholesale consolidators do NOT offer retail service. If you want a straightforward round-trip ticket, know what airline you want to go on, and exactly what dates, and that airline has the best route and price, fine. But of course many itineraries aren’t like that, and most people need a retail agent’s help to figure out what’s the best ticket for them.

Most publicly-available lists of “consolidators” indiscriminately mix wholesale consolidators who also sell directly to the public with retail ticket shop onlines. But retail customers are charged more than wholesale customers by the same consolidators, so you can often get the same price — and better service, and advice — by going through a retail agency even if the wholesaler is (minimally) willing to deal with you directly.

Any retail travel agent can buy tickets from consolidators, and most USA agents who do significant international ticketing are familiar with some of the biggest consolidators for major carriers. ticket shop onlines are retail agencies that specialize in knowing the full range of consolidators (every airline has many consolidators) and in knowing other techniques of fare construction, importing tickets, etc. for discount prices.

Consolidators basically fall into three categories:

    Wholesale-only consolidators

These generally have no retail sales or advertising, and don’t want to be known to the general public. (You may have seen the names of some of these consolidators, however, in the validation box of tickets bought through a retail agency.) These are the consolidators most local travel agents know about. They generally deal only with round trips originating in the country where they are based, and are common in the USA, UK, and Australia, among other countries They advertise only in the travel agency trade press, not in consumer publications. Often they forbid retail agents who buy tickets from them from giving out their direct contact information, since their thin wholesale margins include no allowance for retail customer service. They will not sell directly to the public; if you aren’t really a professional travel agent, they will figure it out.

    Destination specialists

Agencies that specialize in a particular destination or region often have negotiated discounts on tickets to that region which they offer both to their own (retail) customers and to other agencies as a wholesaler. frequently an agency operating and retailing tours to a particular country will have a discount agreement with the airline it uses for its tours (generally the national carrier of the destination) and will also sell wholesale tickets on that airline. One reason they do the wholesale business, even if their markup on wholesale tickets is very low, is to boost their volume of production (sales) with the airline, as many discount contracts are contingent on a specified sales volume, and/or have year-end bonuses or additional commission rebates based on sales thresholds. Sometimes they are “general sales agents,” that is, official representatives of an airline (usually a small one) that doesn’t have service or its own office in a country.

You can often find agencies like this through publications targeted at immigrants from the country you want to go to. Even in foreign-language ethnic publications the travel ads are generally recognizable, with at least the phone number, the destination cities, and the round-trip prices in Latin letters and numbers! Even more than general bucket-shop ads in the Sunday newspaper travel supplements, a quick glance at the ethnic press will give you the best idea of the absolute lower limit of possible prices for tickets bought long in advance for travel in the most unpopular season on the worst air companies with the worst connections in the most undesirable or expensive stopover points.

But if you want the cheapest possible round-trip from the USA home to India, Ireland, Nigeria, or wherever, no general-purpose agency, even a general discount agency, is likely to be able to beat the lowest prices of a no-service, bare-bones, specialist agency within that particular ethnic community that sells nothing else but a massive volume of round-trip tickets to a single destination.

Realize that the lowest advertised price is usually either a loss leader and/or a bait-and-switch gambit to attract callers. The lowest advertised prices for transoceanic tickets from the USA, for example, generally range from wholesale cost for the cheapest ticket to about $20 below cost. It is unlikely that you will actually get a ticket for your itinerary at these prices.

Most advertised prices are exclusive of taxes and perhaps other fees; even in the most expensive season the lowest advertised prices are usually for travel in low season, whenever that is.

On the other hand, shopping solely on price is a good way to ensure that the agency from which you eventually buy your ticket has cut its margin so thin that they can’t afford to provide an acceptable standard of service. And even price-sensitive travelers, especially those who aren’t intimately familiar with their destination, may find that it’s worth paying a bit more for reliability, service, and a modicum of advice.

“ticket shop onlines” and other multi-stop specialists

These are discount retail agencies that specialize in trips more complicated than simple round trips, often to a wider range of destinations or to multiple destinations. Many ticket shop onlines negotiate their own deals directly with the air companies for routes where they can’t get good (or any) discounts from (A) or (B). They use these deals for their own retail customers, and frequently also to sell to other ticket shop onlines. (Sometimes they negotiate these deals specifically to be able to export the tickets to ticket shop onlines in other countries, as when a Singapore ticket shop online gets permission to discount tickets originating in the USA) ticket shop onlines’ own deals tend to emphasize one-way tickets, which are essential for constructing around-the-world tickets and which often aren’t available from other general-purpose consolidators.

Traveling around the world is the most fulfilling journey, to this day. Studies have shown that for two-thirds of people, this is the ultimate travel experience. Travel agents and trip-takers alike are searching for the cheapest tickets and airfare to help make this dream a reality.

When looking for cheap airline tickets you can usually obtain them from wholesale dealers and discounters.

You want to buy round-trip tickets from point A to point B. You even have a specific airline in mind and have your dates all picked out. Well, the next logical step is to go directly to the source! The ticket discount agency is where you can find airfare and tickets that have been purchased in bulk from consolidators and wholesalers in order to offer you the best deals!

Most trips require planning and some people use travel agents to help set up the trip and its expenses. Cheap airfares can be found in particular regions with the airlines in the corresponding country. Sometimes a travel agent that operates and retails tours to a country will make a discount agreement and sell you discount airline tickets on the certain airline in certain cases. It is recommended to use travel agents to get the most out of ones trip.

You can often find agencies that deal with nation carriers for a specific country by reading through travel magazines aimed at that country. Local travel agencies that deal with particular destinations selling round-trip discount flights are often the best place to go to when looking for the cheapest possible airfare. These will most likely be flights to the capital of that country and a possibly the other main cities of the country.

If you take your time and shop around you can find cheaper airplane tickets with certain retail agencies that offer discounts. These agencies are very experienced in destinations with wider ranges or even to multiple locations. They are able to give these discounts because of the massive amount of tickets in their possession. Only thing you should watch out for is extra charges generated by governmental taxes, luggage and, other taxes so, the discounts might not be as large as advertised. Reading the smaller legal print might be able to reveal the true price.

Agencies often advertise the lowest cost available for a given trip, portraying low season rates that do not necessarily apply throughout the majority of the year when people actually want to travel. This is very common, and you will likely get a price that is multiples of what you saw in the advertisement regardless of the agency or firm that you utilize.

Airlines schedule flights up to 6 months in advance. You can get discounts by scheduling a flight well in advance. Keep your eyes on airline websites and travel press for special discounts. If you book online you can have even more discounts as the company does not have to pay commission to a salesman. Plan Ahead to get the cheapest flights. Call your airline today to see if they have any special deals, or go online and check the specials.

You can save a lot of money on air tickets if you search many months ahead, but there are exceptions. Around Christmas time and the holidays, tickets usually cost a lot more money and it is harder to get a plane ticket even months before. If you can spare to be flexible and travel on the actual day of the holiday in question, you can often times save a lot on airfares that way.

For those of you traveling during the Summer on short or long haul flights my advice would be to get to the airport as early as you can – I took a flight from Leeds & Bradford airport to London Heath row this week, and only had ten minutes to spare before the gate opened.

I had actually arrived at the airport two hours before the flight, even though BMI quoted an hour, because I knew it would be crazy with the recent weather problems and terrorist attack on Glasgow airport, and it took me much longer than expected to get through security.

My advice is:

- get to the security check-in as quickly as possible, and make sure you adhere to the up-to-date baggage rules, i.e. liquids in a see-through bag, one piece of hand luggage etc.

- don’t wear shoes that have metal on them, as this will only delay you getting through security, how do I know this, because stupid me forgot to take my shoes off so I went through the metal detector, it beeped, they searched me, took my shoes off and had to go through the detector again.

- be prepared to queue in security, even at Leeds & Bradford which is usually very quick, I had to queue for nearly 40 minutes, so bear this in mind when working out what the best time to arrive at the airport.

- all UK airports aren’t allowing taxi’s or cars to drop people off near the departure terminals, and will have to drop you off in the cark parks or near the airport, so be prepared for a walk.

July and August are the busiest times of the years, so expect delays, both checking in and going through security, be organised, keep your passport and flight tickets with you at all time, and check the airline and airport websites before travelling.

Any amount of savings when you travel means a lot when you cannot afford to loose an extra euro. You try your best to come up with few ways to save those extra euros and see that there are 5 different ways of getting really cheap plane ticket tickets for your next flight.

Buying a return ticket – Perhaps the easiest way to keep some bucks in your pocket a little longer is to buy a return ticket. Most plane ticket companies offer rebates for return flight tickets with only a slight difference on a one way ticket. If you plan to return on a definite date, make sure buy return tickets ahead of time. Also, there are some instances where traveling on regular days is cheaper than traveling during weekends. Weekends are much busier than weekdays and the demand for plane ticket tickets are higher. Thus prices are higher on certain dates where demand is also high. If you think it is advantageous for you to travel during weekdays and return on a next weekdays, you can grab really cheap plane ticket ticket for sure.

Internet – The internet is pretty basic and it is already in front of your nose if you want to find really cheap plane ticket ticket. While reading this, you can even start opening the links attached and find your way to a cheap plane ticket tickets. Here you can research on few different discount ticket sites that offer really cheap plane ticket tickets anywhere in the world. The trick actually lies in the prices of tickets on discount ticket sites which vary day in and day out. Oftentimes, these discount ticket sites offer the same type of ticket on the same day of the same destination with different prices. If you want to get really cheap plane ticket ticket wherever you want to go, it pays to visit at least 3 discount ticket sites in the web and do a comparison.

Don’t Settle for huge plane ticket Companies – huge plane ticket companies offer huge service to huge clients. They have more expensive ticket prices due to the amount of advertisement and marketing they incur in order to maintain their fame. Try not to fly with them. Instead, go for smaller plane ticket companies which can provide good service at the same time cheaper plane ticket ticket prices.

Keep your jurney more flexible – If you are not on the rush and would not mind saving on bucks than getting to a destination as quick as possible, keep your options open. Again this would need an internet to work. You need to search for all the possibilities where you can compare ticket prices. Try to look for flights during midnight or connecting flights. Make a comparison against few others so you will discover a really cheap plane ticket ticket that is right for your budget.

Plan to travel longer – Most of the time, it pays to take a bus from one big city or country to another, and then take the flight from there than getting on a airplane directly on your big city or country. If for example you are traveling from Paris to London. Try to take a bus From Paris to London then take a plane from L.A. to Seattle. Or, if you want to go a little further, ride a bus from Paristo Sacramento, then take a plane there. Chances are you have saved a lot before you know it! These are only 5. There are more. If you really want cheap to get cheap plane ticket ticket, explore more possibilities like taking on vacation packages, last minute discount and accepting courier flights. In these ways, you will no longer have to pay full the next time you travel by air.

Quite a lot of buzz this morning about the announcement that airport operator, BAA have warned passengers of delays of up to 12 hours on flights coming into London Heathrow on Wednesday 30 November. This has meant a number of airlines have cancelled flights or reduced services.

News on other UK airports

I spent some time this morning looking on other UK airport websites including Gatwick and Manchester – they are being a little more reserved, suggesting that they have put in place plans to limit the disruption, but expect delays. I will of course keep this post up-to-date if the situation changes.

Strikes over public sector pensions

Over two million public sector workers including UK Border Agency staff are set to walk out on Wednesday over reforms that the government are set to make on their pensions.

London Heathrow airport stats

Heathrow is London’s largest airport in the UK, is used by 90 airlines, flying to 170 destinations and has over 67 million annual passengers. The airport receives an average of 180,000 passengers every day.

Advice from BAA

We are very concerned by the impact that the proposed UK Border Agency immigration officer strike action on 30 November will have on arriving passengers at Heathrow. We recommend that you keep in touch with your airline to check the status of your flight or onward connection and for any advice about travel on that day.

Advice for Passengers

Stuart Lodge, Roundtheworldflights.com

Most major airlines are allowing a good will change in and out of the UK on 28 & 29 November or 1 December. All are free of charge, which is worth considering.

Martin Rothwell, World First insurance

Under the terms of most travel insurance policies the policyholder should be able to benefit from cover for Travel Delay, Abandonment and Missed Departure.

If you are delayed for 12 hours or more you can expect to receive a cash benefit (usually £20 for the first 12 hours and then £10 per 12 hours thereafter). But if you are delayed for 24 hours then you can cancel your trip and claim Abandonment.

Travel insurers will have a cut-off point for claiming for costs arising due to the current announced strike action. The cut-off would normally be when the strikes were first announced and became common knowledge.

My advice is to check with the airline or airport before departing for the airport, and to assist UK border control have your travel documents including passports taken out of any wallets and be patient while queueing.

Share your experiences and advice

Are you travelling in or out of the UK on Wednesday? Have you found airlines and travel companies to be helpful and if you have any advice please leave it in the comments section.

TripAdvisor now successfully started new project Expedia and now pushing hard with a marketing message about how it’s reviews are verified.

Just a day before CEO Steve Kaufer first public listing on the NASDAQ, Expedia started telling a number of its global markets about the launch of its new system.

Known now as Expedia , only guests that stayed at a property can submit a review, all review are manually checked by administrators.

The Verified Reviews platform has officially launched in the United states , but consumers in Australia and New Zealand are already using a new feedback system and site visitors are being reassured about the authenticity of the reviews.

The review form is said to have been streamlined but allows guests to submit information which, when included in new filters on the site, will let visitors browse reviews based on proximity to amenities and attractions. Users will also be able to submit photos of the property.

Expedia’s tie-in with TripAdvisor isn’t completely over – each hotel page on Expedia has an icon displaying the aggregated score on TripAdvisor of a property (interestingly, the one above shows how close the two ratings are from verified and un-verified reviews).

A user will still be able to click on the TripAdvisor logo and be directed to the corresponding hotel page on TripAdvisor.

The relationship between Expedia and TripAdvisor at this level has often been slightly curious given that the former was once the parent company of the user review giant.

TripAdvisor waited for many years in the UK, for example, before seeing its reviews appear on the Expedia site, whereas visitors to the Australia and Canadian versions saw content appear very early on in the review site’s rapid expansion around the global.

While the idea of having verified reviews is nothing new elsewhere, or indeed on Expedia, some will note the remarkable timing of the announcement and relaunch of the guest feedback platform, especially as TripAdvisor is currently embroiled in one of the regular periods when it appears to take a beating from many in the industry.

There is many Cheap flight’s company in the Europe to choose from. I found several and want to write some review of them. Whey all are cheap and all mostly sells Economic class planes ticket.

Economy class seats usually recline and include a fold-down table. Domestic economy classes range from 43 to 46.4 cm.
A pocket attached to the seat in front will contain an airsickness bag, inflight magazine, Duty-Free catalogue and a safety and evacuation card. Depending on the airline, extras might include a blanket, an amenities bag.

Availability of food depends on the airline. Some major carriers no longer serve meals in economy for short haul flights.Low-cost carriers, such as EasyJet and Ryanair, now charge for food and drinks on flights under two hours long. In addition, many carriers also make economy passengers pay for airport check-in, checked bags, pillows, blankets and headphones.

Cheap flights companies:

Ryanair
EasyJet
Airbaltic
IrAero
Wizz air

I think top three companies of the economic class fly tickets sellers would be:

Ryanair

Wizz air

EasyJet

If you go companies websites and compare the prices you will see what cheapest company is the Ryanair. The price is lowest, support is not bad. But you need to pay addition fee’s for bags if it bigger whan 30*50cm and wight’s more than 10 Kg. Also Ryanair sad what 90% of ticket’s people buy by they Website, witch is simple and easy to use.

In second place Wizzair, because of some details. Ticket prices are the same, but they have less planes and places from there you can fly abroad. The product is the same, and support is good too.

The Third place is EasyJet. They service is the best i think, but one problem, if you want to go somewhere cheap you will choose Ryanair or Wizzair. And if you want better support and product you need to choose EasyJet.

My review is on the price and price for service is the main thing, So i choose my favorite top3 from all economic flights organizers .
